Eotech HWS 518 Red Dot Sight

The EOTECH HWS 518 holographic sight delivers the fast, heads-up target acquisition EOTECH is known for, with the logistical advantage of common AA power. Built for hard use on a carbine or duty rifle, it keeps your reticle crisp and your setup simple—no hunting for specialty batteries when it matters.

Its red ring-and-dot holographic reticle is optimized for rapid centering at close range while still supporting precise holds, and 20 daylight brightness settings let you tune visibility from overcast to full sun. Side-mounted controls keep adjustments accessible when running a magnifier tight behind the optic, and the quick-detach lever mount clamps securely to 1" Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails, preserving rail space without giving up a solid return-to-zero. With 0.5 MOA per click windage/elevation, you can dial a zero with fine control.

Use the 518 for dynamic shooting, patrol rifles, training blocks, and range work where speed, repeatability, and uncomplicated battery sourcing are priorities. It runs on two 1.5V AA batteries (lithium, alkaline, or rechargeable) and delivers up to 2,500 hours on lithium at a nominal setting.
